Ms. Lupin has worked with parents and children for thirty years. She has been a counselor for emotionally disturbed children and worked as a diagnostician, testing children to determine placement. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, parent educator, as well as a child of divorce, and was divorced herself. Ms. Lupin was a National Trainer for several years for Active Parenting and is the author of the program Old Me, New Me, a program for behavioral change for children with ADHD and behavioral problems, http://www.oldmenewme.com/.
Ms. Lupin currently is the President of Making the World a Better Place Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help families and children overcome the trauma of divorce and establish a place of refuge in cities nationwide. The Foundation is currently producing a documentary fordivorcing parents entitled The Place of Refuge, www.makingtheworldabetterplace.us/healersofthesea. She teaches parents for the court system in Arkansas and trains leaders for Children in the Shadows of Divorce nationwide. Her workshops have been well received nationally and on military basesoverseas.
